Founded in 2008, Instructure is an EdTech company known for the leading LMS, Canvas. Based in Utah, this EdTech powerhouse supports tens of millions of educators and learners in over 7,000 institutions and over 100 countries.

The challenge.

Based in Utah, this EdTech powerhouse supports tens of millions of educators and learners in over 7,000 institutions and over 100 countries. As of the fall of 2023, Instructure Canvas maintains its leadership position with a market share of 42.3%, almost double that of its nearest competitor by number of institutions (1469) and more than double in terms of enrolled students (8.66 million).

In addition to Canvas, another popular platform is Bridge, an Instructure corporate learning solution that facilitates employee development across all levels, encompassing career growth and engagement. In December 2020, Learning Technologies Group acquired Bridge, further solidifying Instructure's influence in the EdTech sector.

Instructure sought engineering expertise to maintain and incrementally enhance its product offering. The partnership involved our senior engineers collaborating with Instructure's team to develop and evolve their educational platforms, Canvas and Bridge.
