Justice Erolin discusses his background as an engineer in Silicon Beach (Los Angeles) and his career in advertising before he joined BairesDev as CTO, all this while nurturing his journey as a pastor. He was a potential sales lead, but he kept BairesDev in mind because of our company culture and value proposition — factors that ultimately made him want to join us. In his words, “When you sell well, you recruit well.”
He shares our current strategy — one that serves over 400 clients in the U.S. and beyond — from startups to enterprises. He believes that BairesDev’s success is a result of its culture and being a process-driven and transparent company. As a nearshore software development partner, BairesDev guarantees timezone alignment, seamless integration with a company’s in-house staff, and minimal linguistic and cultural differences. With these benefits, clients leverage a good balance between work and life. This, Justice believes, enhances business relationships.
He also points to Latin American regions outside capital cities as a great opportunity for growth, noting that remote work has made it possible to recruit highly skilled and experienced talent in more timezone-aligned areas. This is reflected in the fact that we receive 1M applicants from over 140 different countries every year. We ensure that we hire only the best talent by using a robust acceptance process involving English language, frameworks, coding, and soft skills tests, among others.
Justice believes leadership is not about influencing people but encouraging and allowing them to rise up and make tough choices. During difficult times, like the recent wave of layoffs and economic uncertainty, he has seen how people are willing to help others. It is in this same good spirit that leadership and technology come together in our vision.
